AFFILIATION
The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
ORGANIZATION OF THE SCHOOL
The School is divided into six houses:
Rana Partap, Subhash, Ajit, Nehru, Shastri & Shivaji.
Each house is managed by a House Master who is assisted by a House Captain, a House Prefect and an Assistant Prefect - thus forming a complete structural team.
ACADEMIC SESSION
The School academic session commences at the beginning of March and finishes in the first week of December. Only one long vacation is observed which extends from the first week of December until beginning of March. In view of the three month winter break, very few public holidays are observed during the session.
COURSE OF STUDY
Besides the regular subjects pertaining to the CBSE syllabus which include English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi and Social Science, the School provides Computer Education, Art & Craft and Music. Computer Education is introduced at the level of class 2 to quickly and with ease become acquainted with the concept. This allows for an easy transition into the more advanced stages of computer science. For the third language, students have a choice between French, German, Sanskrit and Punjabi.

ASSESSMENT
The School follows a pattern of on-going assessment thereby allowing for maximum learning with least amount of difficulty. Apart from regular class tests, a student undergoes two examinations in the academic year. The first exam takes place at the end of May, the second at the end of August, and final exam is held towards the end of November. The result of each of the three exams is reported to the parents in a progress report card. The percentage marks received by a student at the end of the year are based on all three exams where 50% is drawn from the first three and 50% from the Annual exam.
SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
For students who require special assistance, extra coaching is arranged by the School at a nominal charge.
