Dalhousie Public School, founded over three decades ago, is a residential co-ed school.

It comprises of 1200 students, ranging from age 4 (Kindergarten) to age 16(tenth grade), of which 1000 are boarders and the rest day scholars. The teaching staff consists of approximately 65 trained teachers most of whom live on campus. Both students and teachers are selected from different parts of India - and also from other parts of the world - thus providing an atmosphere of cultural diversity.
